A thing I'm working on right now is to create patterns or print on fabric using original artwork. I'm cutting out bits of the painting, going on with it on it on the computer and generate new patterns that way. It is a very useful way for me to be creative...and fun (and you know, that is what it's all about). Have fun!

The exhibition Relational Production is dealing with the interaction in relationships and the moves and actions who happens during the building of relationships. NLHspace frames a dynamic duel where artists (me & Rikke Winther)promote themselves in the process. Based on works on paper the artists challenges each other by taking turns to comment on each other’s works, with new works. Throughout the exhibition period the work developes and goes into new, unexpected or maybe expected directions. In the process the focus will be on the tension built up over dogma, which relate to the rules we know from social relationships eg. respect, recognition or compromise.

Yesterday I participated in the
Many mini project an exciting event at
Koh-i-noor going on for several days. The idea was to explore relations, and in this matter the relation between my artist colleague, Rikke Winther's works and mine. We battled for 5 hours, and they flew away way too fast! Coffee and music kept us going...

About Many Mini Residency
Many Mini Residency is a short-term residency program operated in conjunction with alternative exhibition venues in Europe and the United States. The name ‘Many Mini’ encompasses two main components of the project which is hosted in one room 24 hours a day for one week. The ‘Many’ describes the open call for proposals and the resulting multiplicity of responses and participants. The ‘Mini’ component of the residency describes the limited amount of time available and the scale of the room. Many Mini Residency is open to applicants from all disciplines (art and non-art alike) and encourages participants to customize their residency experience. There is no minimum time-limit for a stay at the residency but the maximum stay allows use of the space for half a day. The space may be used for public programs, personal studio time, a rehearsal space, a dinner, or whatever the resident sees fit. Participants provide documentation and a short statement about their time spent in the residency to serve as both a record and a resource displayed online as the final component of the project.

Udstillingen Relation Produktion arbejder med samspillet omkring relationer og de små ryk der sker under opbyggelsen af relationen.
NLH space danner rammerne om en dynamisk duel, hvor kunstnerne iscenesætter sig selv i proces. Med afsæt i papirarbejder udfordrer kunstnerne hinanden ved på skift at kommentere hinandens værker med værker. Gennem hele udstillingsperioden udvikles værkerne og går i nye uventede eller ventede retninger. I processen fokusereres der på et spændingsfelt der er opbygget over dogmer, som forholder sig til de regler vi kender fra sociale relationer f.eks. respekt, anerkendelse eller kompromis.NLHspace
The silk screen printing allows the students to be more creative with colors, composition and storytelling in their pictures as they don't have to bother much about whether they can draw properly (mimesis) or not (a matter that stops many from experimenting, which is the point in these matters). A result is easily achieved with this method and is often very satisfying for the student. In this project focus has been on experimenting and to learn a new technique.
